The intent with the ZerOwaste project is to end up with virtually everything that the company produces or consumes being recycled or re-used in some way. Hence eliminating 95-98% of all potential waste destined for landfill.
GLASS - All of our internal scrap or broken glass will be crushed down to granules or powder and re-used for various projects and products.
PAPER - Office papers are collected and shredded and virtually all items used by employees are recycled or reused.
PACKAGING - We have eliminated plastic packing peanuts and have replaced them with our new shredded cardboard packaging. This 100% recyclable packaging is made up of our scrap cardboard that has been created by our cardboard shredder.
REDUCED COSTS - This project is not only helpful to us by lowering our operational costs, but it helps the environment by reducing the amount of waste we send to landfill. It is also an goal of ours to help our customers by lowering their costs as well as a result of our Environmental stewardship.
