Product Overview
Constructed of 3 concentric tubes, the coolant circulates in the outer jacket and central tube. This increases the cooling surface of the condenser allowing it to be shorter than an equivalent Liebig condenser.
Specifications
- Manufactured from 3.3 expansion borosilicate glass complying with ISO 3585 (ASTM E-438 Type 1 Class A)
- Highly efficient condenser with large cooling surface making it suitable for distillation, reflux & Soxhlet extraction applications. Suitable for substances with low boiling points.
- Inner cooling surface gives 'baffle' effect
- Outer cooling surface prevents 'creep' with low boiling point liquids
- Supplied with detachable plastic screw thread connectors which allow 9mm bore flexible tubing to be fitted easily and safely
