The Zero Waste Project

Reusing More & Wasting Less.
At Pegasus Glass, we're committed to building a cleaner, more efficient future for our company, our customers, and the planet. That's why we launched the Zero-Waste Project. A company wide initiative to ensure that everything we produce is either recycled or reused.

What Does Zero-Waste Mean for Us?

1. Recycling Scrap Glass Into Powder

All scrap or broken borosilicate and quartz glass is now collected, crushed, and repurposed into fine powder.
We then sell this material to partners across different industries, from construction and ceramics to research labs.

This helps us:

  • Keep glass waste out of landfills.

  • Reduce our raw material loss.

  • Give valuable material an new purpose.

2. Shredding Office Paper for Recycling.

Every day, we collect all outdated or discarded paperwork from our offices and securely shred it for recycling. This helps keep our footprint low, even outside the production floor.

3. Recyclable Cardboard Packaging

Completely eliminated plastic peanuts from our packaging and shipments.
In their place we now use:

  • Recycled cardboard from our own facility.

    • Shredded using special equipment to create protective, eco-friendly packaging.

This packaging is:

  • Made entirely from internal waste.

  • Fully recyclable.

  • Excellent at protecting fragile glass.

Why It Matters.

This project isn't just good for the planet, it's good for you, our customers too. By lowering our operational costs through smarter practices, material reuse and packaging. This helps you save on our products!
