What is an EIN?

An Employer Identification Number or Employer ID Number (EIN) is a tax ID that the U.S. governments Internal Revenue Service (IRS) uses to identify business identities located in the U.S.

The EIN is also used by the U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) to associate entities with any of their import or export dealings. 

Pegasus Glass will ask for your EIN number before you submit and checkout your order.

What if I don't have an EIN?

If you're operating a business in the U.S. and don't have an EIN, you can apply directly through the IRS.
It's free and usually takes only minutes online.

U.S. Individuals

If you're ordering as a U.S. individual (not a registered business), we will require your Social Security Number (SSN) instead. This is used strictly for tax compliance and is securely handled.
